TLC is expanding into unscripted programming with the launch of a new online hub for social influencers. The hub, part of TLC’s online entity TLCme, is being defined as a network of social influencers and lifestyle experts who will provide the latest stories on style, beauty, weddings, family, home and more.
TLC’s new original programming include:
· Estee on TLCme: Building off of her successful 1.1M-subscribed YouTube vlogs, Estee Lalonde brings her no-nonsense beauty, style and DIY secrets to the TLC audience.
· Erica In The House: Hosted by the DIY guru behind P.S. – I Made This, Erica Domesek takes viewers on her journey of making her house a home. Domesek provides tips, tricks and solutions to throwing the perfect dinner party, whipping up festive treats and how to decorate your home with dollar-store finds.
· #NewMomDiaries: Jess Zaino is an on-air personality, celebrity stylist and Emmy-nominated style producer turned working mom juggling it all. Zaino shares her tips and tricks for surviving life with a new human clinging to you.
· TLCme Now: The radio host and nationally syndicated star, Danni Starr, hosts a weekly primetime, on-air roundup where she shares top stories and tips of the week, including simple ways to clean your house in five minutes, holiday hosting tips and more.
“We are so excited to be partnering with these tastemakers and influencers in the digital and social space,” said Scott Lewers, SVP of Programming and Multiplatform Strategy for TLC. “We are making great forays into original video content on the topics that are ever-important to our key millennial audience.”
Since its launch, TLCme.com has seen up to 2.2 monthly unique visitors largely driven from the mobile platform and nearly half of which are W18-34. Whether these tastemakers are catching you up on buzz-worthy stories, sharing #momhacks, designing eye-popping bookshelves, or demonstrating easy makeup tips, Erica, Jess, Estee and Danni have something for everyone, when and how they want to consume it.
