Michelle Phan started the creation of her recently released comic series called “Helios : Femina” when she was 11 years old.

The first three sections were published on March 18, which gives the readers an overall idea of what we will be continuing to read. It’s the idea that technology has a huge impact, and here, resulting in damage. Similar to real life, it’s almost as if Michelle is making a point that even if technology has its ups, it can have a downfall affect as well.

The graphics put the reader in another land with a dreamy blue and purple sky, filled with shiny stars. By scrolling from top to bottom, the eye follows the storyline with a delicate font.

The prologue begins with..

Michelle-Phan-Helios-Femina-RoccoReport“Whenever you see a shooting star, there’s a saying that goes… make a wish.
*sigh*
All the prayers those stars hear… yet, their elucidative answers fall on deaf ears.
How frustrating.
If only wishers would just listen more closely… it’s a calling they’d hear.
There are no chosen ones.
No destinies… because all are called… but few answer…
HELIOS : FEMINA”

Beautiful moons and bright and shiny crystals are what to expect in the opening section.

Chapter one is called “The Last Star Cycle.”

“I read somewhere that described this place perfectly… Zeru, the planet of music.
Draped in a never-ending twilight sky… With two moons dancing in its orbit.”

Here we are introduced to the main characters. Rhea wears a long, blue and purple, galaxy looking, hooded cape. She has a little blue friend named Bebo, who has a long red scarf around the neck that follows behind.

In this section, Bebo’s big eyes are filled with the reflection of the huge crystals that stand tall in front of him and Rhea. He says, “It’s good to be back.”

The two characters hear music and see a star cycle party up in the sky. This is coming from a girl named Zerunians, who wears a long light pink dress, contrasting her light pink hair. Although she doesn’t look it, she’s 300 and can live up to 1000 star cycles. Bebo said, “Passing on peacefully in a dream.” Bebo makes a point of saying that Zeru is peaceful.

While Rheo and Bebo make their way to celebrate, they see something in the sky. It seems to be a scary looking, blue and green monster with glowing eyes, mouth and fins. It looks to be aiming for a moon with an opened mouth of sharp teeth. A picture of a land seems to be present in the mouth. As for what happens next, see for yourself.

Chapter two is called “Two Moons,” located in a dreamy land filled with mountains and swirly trees, crystals and river with a bridge crossing over it. But it’s not so dreamy for long as this land also gets destroyed by the monster.

Rhea takes off her cape, and she suddenly becomes a savior. Under the cape, she wore shiny blue leggings, with a matching bra and gloves and a long vail. She’s ready to save the world. A lotus flower in seen in the water at the end of this chapter.

On March 27, chapter three, called “Purple Dawn,” was released. Rhea sees someone crushed by a crystal. As for the purple lotus, shining in the water, was more than just a flower. She finds a baby inside, and that person that was killed was the baby’s parent.

She calls Bebo for some help, but he’s busy dealing with a snake that’s devouring one of the moons. This is causing earthquakes and tsunamis. Rhea tells him that it’s a Level III entity and suggests that it may be very strong. After mentioning again that she needs help, Bebo made his way to help. “Take a life, you kill all. Save a life… you save all.”

Now, it’s this was just a preview of what to expect. From here on out, the remaining 26 chapters will be released every Sunday.
