Four remaining teams flew from Indonesia to China to take on the 11th leg of The Amazing Race.
Tyler & Korey were the first to rip the clue early morning telling them to fly to Shenzhen, China. They would then find the next clue in the departure hall of the Shenzhen airport.
On the way to the travel agency, Tyler explained that he had no regrets about U-Turning and eliminating the Frisbee guys during the last leg.
Tyler later spoke positive words about the mother/son team when he said, “I’ve seen a new life in Sheri & Cole’s eyes.”
Teams arrived at the Window of the World theme park and climbed to the first level where they found their next clue… A Roadblock.
Here, teams were to solve a series of riddles in order to identify six world landmarks. Contestants would receive their next clue after running to each landmark, collecting stickers for their passport books. This task was performed by Tyler, Burnie, Dana and Sheri.
After getting approved, Tyler said, “It’s anybody’s race for first.”
Meanwhile, Sheri was having problems with the riddle when it came to the head of a lion and the body of a fish. After asking someone, she was then directed to the Singapore Merlion.
Next up was the option of Detours: Commuter Cycle or Masters of Arts.
For Commuter Cycle, teams were to ride electric unicycles in the midst of carrying coffee cups and briefcases. After completing a trip down the road, along with other local commuters, they would receive the next clue. Once all six stamps were approved, teams were given their next clue by an immigration officer. The only team to complete this detour was Sheri & Cole.
In Master of Arts, on the other hand, contestants had to collect and then deliver paintings to a nearby art gallery. Contests had to hang the paintings on the wall exactly how the art dealer wanted. This detour was done by Tyler & Korey, Dana & Matt and Burnie & Ashley.
At the end of the leg, Tyler & Korey got to Phil first. Dana & Matt arrived second, followed by Sheri & Cole.
Unfortunately, Burnie & Ashley got eliminated. Burnie was very disappointed that his team didn’t make it and said, “We just had a classic bad day on the Race, and you can’t do that this late in the game.”
