Vine star and social influencer Gabriel Conte has signed with UTA, Variety exclusively learned.
With 1.8 million Vine followers, who have garnered more than 1 billion video loops, and 2 million Facebook followers, Conte is one of the platform’s most influential stars.
His popularity has led to opportunities for Conte on other platforms, specifically on the television side, where he was most recently cast in Fox’s The Passion alongside Tyler Perry and Chris Daughtry.
In addition to The Passion, Conte is currently in production with a new scripted project from New Form Digital, in which he will play one of the lead roles.
Conte is known for his comedy skits, dancing videos and collaborations. He has been performing since the 7th grade and posted his first Vine on August 17, 2013. He enrolled in Florida State University in pursuit of a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Acting. On January 18, 2015, Conte released a video letting the world know that he is battling depression.
He has also worked with such major brands as Comcast, T-Mobile, Spotify and Sony.
